Offer Description Applications are invited for a two-year postdoc position in Control Theory for PDEs at the Département de mathématiques et applications (DMA) of the École normale supérieure , Paris. The postdoc is funded by the ANR Project "CORALS" (ANR-24-CE40-4571) : https://anr.fr/Projet-ANR-24-CE40-4571 . Research project The main objective of this project is to develop new methods to study the controllability of certain systems arising from fluid mechanics and modeled by nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs). Profile and requirements A PhD (or equivalent) in mathematics, completed by the starting date of the contract. A solid background in analysis of PDEs and control theory, and preferably some basic knowledge of fluid mechanics. A strong motivation for research in pure mathematics.
